M Chakraborty shares screen space with son Namashi Chakraborty for the first time for a song in Bad Boy
Mithun Chakraborty’s son, Namashi Chakraborty is making his debut opposite Amrin Qureshi in Rajkumar Santoshi’s directorial, Bad Boy. The release date of the film is yet to be announced. Now, as the lockdown restrictions have eased, Namashi and Amrin shot for a song titled Janab E Ali at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The song has been choreographed by Piyush Bhagat and Shazia Samji.
That’s not all. Namashi’s superstar father Mithun will be seen in a cameo in the song composed by Himesh Reshammiya. Known as the king of disco, Mithun Da will surely treat his fans with a dance number after a long time. Pictures were clicked on the set in Hyderabad.
Rajkumar told, “COVID has disturbed the schedule of the release, however, we hope to release the film as soon as possible. Mithun Da is a legend, having him in the song will only add that pinch of extra tadka.”
Amrin added, “I am so glad to be working with the legends in my debut project. Mithun uncle is the epitome of dance and has been my most favourite and it’s indeed a moment to cherish that in my film I got an opportunity to share the screen space with sir, and that too in a song.”
Produced Sajid Qureshi shared, “With each day, we are getting closer to the release of the film. This song is special. Having Mithun Da in the song is perfect. It is like a perfect blend of modern and old-world charm”.
Bad Boy is presented by Dr Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios) and is scheduled to release soon.
